The cutest little kitty wondered into the lecture theater - much to the amusement of everyone in it! The cat took his time, wondering up and down the front of the hall, running under the legs of the people who were sat down in the front row before springing up onto the desk a few seats down from me.
I wasn't fast enough to get a photo of the cat however as it didn't stay there for long. It paraded itself along the work bench, taking great care to step on everyone's notes before settling down on my friend's bag. Try as we might, we couldn't shift the cat. He would not be moved. In the end, we gave up and continued on with the lecture. The cat seemed quite interested in the quantum mechanics being explained, sat very still and watching very carefully.
Of course, people kept turning back and whispering, trying to see if the cat was still there or not. He stayed perfectly still, seeming content for a whole twenty minutes before decided he'd had enough. He jumped daintily off the desk and strode along to the big double doors, waiting patiently to be let out.
It certainly livened up our morning, and as a year we have come to the decision that the cat simply wanted to brush up on his physical chemistry knowledge. If he turns up again I think the year group as a whole will simply adopt him - he'll certainly be known from now on as the Chemistry Cat!
Anyway, I thought that was a little story that might put a smile on your faces. I hope you have a wonderful day!
