Hello lovely people and welcome back to my blog! Welcome to the second installment in my Book Chatter series.
Today I'm going to talk about plotting. This is once we've got a past that initial idea stage. You've firmly fleshed out that initial spark of inspiration and you know the premise and the kind of themes you want your project to explore. You may not know much about characters or specifics, but that is where more detailed plotting coming in handy. That task however is really not easy. As such, I thought I would share some tips on how to make it slightly easier for those that might be struggling. This will not be my only plotting video. There will be far more to follow this in the future. This is just me sharing the basic and things I think beginners should consider and watch out for the most. I hope you enjoy it!
So I hope that you enjoyed this video and found it helpful. If you did that's so great and I'd love to hear any questions that you might have had. I think plotting is a really great skill to have when you're working on a project because it helps you to line everything up and get your head around the direction you want to take. I also think it's important for new writers to plot, so they don't feel overwhelmed when it comes to sitting down, staring at a blank page and wondering where on earth to start. (We all know 'the beginning' is not a helpful answer there!)
As always I hope you all have fantastic weeks and I hope to see you all again next week! Bye!
