*GASP!* I hear some of you cry, but what about planning and time management! They are fantastic skills that individuals can use to maximise their productivity - and I do to great effect. However, the nature of that productivity is again a personal affair. Below, I explain why that is.
So that's what I think about productivity. Now of course, as mentioned before, I think that both time management, planning and a whole host of other techniques can be explored and used to great effect to increase productivity. But at the end of the day, some tasks are easier for some people. Some people have a natural flare for writing, editing, cover design and marketing (oh how I wish that last were me). The main thing, the most important tool to have in your productivity kit is to be kind to yourself and have a realistic expectation of what you can actually do. At the end of the day, sacrificing everything that makes you unique in order to pursue someone elses idea of productivity is just harmful and worse still - it's been done before!
What do you guys think? Do you agree? Do you think that people's productivity is unique? Do you have any tips and tricks that you want to share to help others find their peak performance? Let me know, let's start a conversation. Until next time guys, I hope you all have positive and productive weeks and I'll see you all very very soon. Bye!
