So generally speaking after book one, come book two! Hopefully from there more and more books will follow. Some of them may even be related to one another. here's the thing, we all know a lot of sequels that are, for lack of a better way of putting this - total and complete disappointments (okay maybe there was a better way of putting that).
In all serious, a bad sequel can ruin any and all good reputation that the original material may have garnered. When people come across your books, they'll see the other books, see the comments below, see the star rating. I know personally, I'm not going to start a series if other people have hated what comes after the first book. I think most people would agree with me. So my advice is below!
Okay well I hope you found that useful. Of course, this is by no means an exhaustive list. Sometimes sequels are easier depending on genre, style and how flexible your ideas and characters are. However I absolutely would not write a sequel for the sake of it. Wait for a good idea to come along - I'm sure that it will. The quality of your writing is more important than it's volume or frequency.
That's all from me this week. Do you agree with my list? Do you have additions? What do you think about this topic? Let's start a conversation and let me know. As always guys, I hope that you have positive and productive weeks and I'll see you all very soon! Bye! :)
